What goes better in a picture than kids and a puppy??! The neighbor's brought over the newest edition to their family.... Meet Frankie... Look at that smile! Though there are no pics of Frankie and me, I'm not sure who loved the dog more, me or Cayleigh....

8th grade dance.....

Here are pics from Mandy's 8th grade dance.....She went with her best friend, Connar, and it's hard to believe they decided to go to the dance the night before and that my mom picked up their dresses without them there! They look so good, and DON'T look 8th grade! Pam and I got put on hair duty and I think it turned out pretty good.

Cookies....

Made these with my dad Wednesday and in place of Baby Ruth, used Snickers. The base of this cookie is awesome and you could really use anything you like, such as M&M's, Milky Way, etc... Cookies get an A+ from us! Baby Ruth Cookies Makes: 2 1/2 to 3 dozen cookies 1 1/3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup shortening or butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 2 2.1-ounce Baby Ruth candy bars, chopped (1 cup) Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Cream butter or shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until well blended, then mix in the chopped candy.Chill dough for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until done. Remove from sheets and cool on wire racks.

Wordless Wednesday...well almost! :)
