Ocean breezes....

Image
I think we're going to the beach this weekend!!! The hotel has a great rate of $68 per night, and the forecast is 65-68!!! Any takers??!!! I'm SO excited! ***UPDATE-ok, I wanted takers, but not so many that there are no rooms left at that price, UGH! We are going to give the comfort inn boardwalk a try.....No high expectations, but it is $64.99 and on the boardwalk! Pics from last June at Ocean City, such awesome memories!

I woke up in a baking mood and after Cayleigh pointing to the bananas 100 times, I decided to make banana crumb muffins from the allrecipes website. It was the one time I actually had all of the ingredients on hand! They turned out really yummy, not a surprise that these things are a hall of famer on that site! After baking the muffins, I saw that I had 75% of the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies already out, so I went ahead and made a batch, I think our Wii fit would be mad! Playing: We have been trying to do more little art activities with Cayleigh, as she really likes to color, paint, play with play doh, etc...Right now she definitely favors her left hand and left handed people tend to be more creative(*ahem* not sure where my creative side went, although some say I exceled in cermaics and writing) and we want her to tap into that side. Coloring and stickers... Sometimes we get distracted.... Finished product.. She looks like she is in private school, lol! Bad hair: So Friday night I got my hair done at the Paul Mitchell school. I go there because it is SO much less expensice than a salon, which charges $200 for my hair. I have been going there for a few years and altough I never see the same person, I am always thrilled. This past time was not the case. I don't feel like rehashing, but instead of the "blended, natural" highlights and lowlights I asked for, I got chunky, platinum, fake looking highlights. No offense to those who like thi...
