Happy Father's day!! Cayleigh caught her first fish on Father's day weekend-her daddy was so proud!

Hand Foot Mouth virus.... was no fun.... I'm SO excited to be able to get outside and run!!!

We were able to visit my grandparents for an entire week! We were so excited to see them again and make memories with them. We spent this week relaxing, going to the beach, shopping and Matt even got to go fishing for the day! More than anything we just enjoyed the time we had with them. Talking about them makes me weepy because I love them so much and it is so amazing to see them form a relationship with my little girl knowing how special to me when I was that young-and they still are! Enjoying their pool-having a gun fight with daddy! Snip snipping with poppy-she loved helping him, but wasn't fond of his "popeye the sailorman" song! Enjoying the beach-it's only 15 minutes away! Daddy says she's fine-mommy had to sit on my towel and look the other way! I love this picture! A manatee and sting ray-can you spot them? Heading in to good ol' cracker barrel!

Our second leg of the Florida trip was Orlando. We stayed 4 nights/5 days. We went to Downtown Disney Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised how light the crowds were. We were consistently surprised by the lack of heavy crowds given we were visiting the week after Memorial weekend. Wednesday we decided to relax in preparation for the next day-Magic Kingdom. We just hung out and went to the mall and played at the pool. Thursday was especially hot but we had an awesome time. I will say I was glad we didn't pay for the tickets(you may remember we volunteered back in April) because Cayleigh was definitely under-impressed with the majority of it all. She adored seeing the princesses and mickey and minnie, but as far as the rides went, she wasn't too excited. We got there at 9am and were back in the hotel by 4:30pm!! We decided not to go another day to a Disney park as we originally planned to and just make the last day a pool/hangout day-she LOVED the hotel pool! I must also me...

How have 5 days past since my last post? What a blur. Cayleigh has the hand foot and mouth virus and it is ugly. She has blisters all over her feet and hands, and canker like sores and blisters in her mouth and on her tongue. She no longer has a fever, a patchy red and white throat or rash. It has been nothing shy of misery. In addition, she is restless and isn't sleeping well at night. The doctor also thinks she may have had an infection on some sort in addition to this and so she is on antibiotics. Her spirits are MUCH better and she is eating just about anything again. Oh and did I mention my poor Marissa came down with a bug Saturday seemingly worse than Cayleigh's? They are still trying to sort that illness out but until they can, we can't take Cayleigh to their house which means no work. Will try to make it in one day and have Matt off with her-if she will let us! ***UPDATE*** Marissa has the same thing as Cayleigh... :( PS-I do promise to finish FL!
