My family of three

That our kid was such the party animal? We went to Nat and Jen's wedding reception(they got married in Vegas) and were pretty much thinking we'd only be able to stay a limited time with her. Boy did we underestimate her! We were practically dragging her out the door 4 hours later . She danced the night away with any and everyone who would dance! She was very friendly with people, which is pretty unusual for her. She usually is a bit standoffish with strangers, but tonight was a different story. The bride and groom! Hanging out with Andrew... Nattie.. Momma and Cayleigh during the spare second I really had with her!! Cayleigh with Kayleigh!!! Here was what she did most of the night.... and here is where I was! Meet Karlee, 5 months. I pretty much held her the entire time. Cayleigh got a little jealous in the beginning, but as you can see, really warmed up to her. she kept kissing her and saying "aww, baby!" Andrew, Matt and Lee, his 2 best friends in the entire world....

That my baby is going to be 2 in a mere couple of weeks. Here is the blog I wrote about one year ago.....when she was almost one. I'm sure there will be more sappy posts as her birthday get closer. My baby girl is going to be one in a couple of weeks. Even as I type this it seems unimaginable. In some respects it feels like I had no life before her, in other ways it seems like just yesterday. I go back to a year ago, just getting ready to go on maternity leave, but feeling really good still, just a bit more tired than usual. I remember changing my boy's name this week, since I was more than certain that is what I was going to have. In all truthfulness, I longed for a little girl to dress up and fix her hair, but I was preparing for a lifetime of dirt, bugs and kneescrapes!! I was very excited at the thought of having a boy, though I had no clue what to do with them! After all, I only know girls, given my family history! Anyway, I rested alot and watched alot of tv, fo...

This weekend was so nice, not having any commitments/plans. We have had such a nice time with all of our vacations, it was really nice just hanging out.... Sunday was our cleaning day. Not fun, but desperately needed after being gone so much! We did manage to get out for a walk after dinner. Throwing rocks in that thing...Daddy's idea of course! Pulling her wagon instead of riding in it.... Giving me "flowers".... Today we went to the park and spent time at the house, coloring, playing in the tub, feeding babies, cooking peas and bananas(in her kitchen, not mine), and playing "bocks"(blocks) for an hour. Just playing with the pics I took...

Saturday we went to Greenbriar State Park with friends. We had a really nice time and afterwards went to Moe's :) Pigtails! Playing with daddy... Playing with Sadie... This is the reaction I get when I ask her to smile, LOL!

So, here's what we've been up to... Thursday Grandma Kathi came over and brought her some new crayons(and lots of diapers and wipes! :) ) Friday we went to the gymnastics place to check it out. I think she is going to start up a class in August.. Here she is all ready to go! After, we enjoyed playing on the porch and eating popsicles!
