Funny faces....

Image
Cayleigh has started making funny faces lately, and I have caught a few on camera. She is starting to stick her tongue out, and say uh-oh and I think those are a couple of the faces....

Christmas with Grandad...

Today my dad came to visit. He even brought my favorite pizza, Squire's. It was delicious! He also brought Cayleigh's christmas gift, a drum and music set. She has been playing with it since she opened it. She also got a bitty baby but it is still on it's way... Grandad and Cayleigh! Thanks aunt Pammy for my pretty outfit! just opened the drums....

Flashing lights, sirens and cops, oh my!

Today was a day I ordinarily wouldn't have much to write about...Matt and I had a nice day, picking up last minute gifts, and grabbing lunch at Moe's...except for the fact that as we sat down to eat dinner we heard some sirens. We hear them once in a while and started eating. The sirens started getting louder and we started seeing flashing lights outside our window! We opened our porch and smoke started coming into our apartment. We went to the lobby while Matt went to talk to a fireman and see what was going on. Turns out a shed right next to our apartment complex was on fire! Here are some pics from our day.... Eating her quesadilla and dipping it in sour cream! Trying to break out of the apartment with Daddy's keys! Daddy holding her by the back of her overalls... Weee!!! She LOVED it! Our exciting adventure of the night. Fire is the shed on the left...

What a change a day makes!

While yesterday was almost 70 degrees, today was only about 35! Cayleigh wanted to stay on the balcony all afternoon and play with the recycling and stare at the snow! I made homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner and I think someone liked it! Me chasing her while she runs with the recycling... Taking more recycling out stopping for a smile! Learning how to use a spoon is tough with noodles! Before her 2nd helping!

Just a day, just an ordinary day...

Today was just an ordinary day, except for the fact that it was almost 70 degrees out today! I went to work, and had to set up/clean up a holiday party, but grahmy and Cayleigh raked leaves and played all day. Went to the doctor's because I am still not feeling great and really looking back I felt like I had never recovered from the bronchitis back in September, yes that's right 3 MONTHS ago! Saw the doctor, and he confrimed it, he thinks I have bronchitis still and some crappy virus which has my ears and nose clogged. Thankfully my last done of medicine will be christmas day! All I want for christmas is to be healthy! Here is the only picture you will see of her and the big red guy this year!

Giving her daddy lovin's! Today was Matt's 26th birthday. It was a really nice day. We went to Friendly's for breakfast. Afterward, we went to Toys r us to see if we had bought Cayleigh the entire store or if maybe there was something she didn't have! We bought boots and headed home. Kathi came over for a couple hours to wish her baby boy a happy birthday. Cayleigh took a nap and we headed to the dinner at Charles Town Races and Slots Epic Buffet. After much confusion, frustration and feeling like we were in Twilight zone, we made it in the restaurant and had a very nice dinner. Headed home and in his "elderly" state, my 26 year old husband is passed out in his chair at 9pm.... At Friendly's Working so hard! The Redskin's ONLY touchdown! Amanda and me! Me and my momma! Momma and the girls! Kristin and Amanda Alycia and Marissa ALL of the girls!

Didn't get time to blog yesterday so here is yesterday's post. Matt went with Andrew and his girlfriend to Cabela's. It was supposed to be a guy's trip with another friend of his and just Andrew, well, I am not going to go there. Anyway, Cayleigh and I spent the day with our BFF Pam! She got here around 9am and we hung out for a bit before going to Shepherdstown, WV to pick up Cayleigh's xmas pictures(picture to follow tomorrow). The picture would be much cuter WITHOUT me in it, but what can you do?! None to impressed with the scenic drive back, we decided to go to lunch at Joe's. Cayleigh loved dipping her cheese quesadilla in her sour cream. With our bellies full, we ventured to the amish market to pick up some stuff for my xmas party at work. Of course we could resist brownies for dessert! Came home so Cayleigh could nap. Once she woke up, we headed out to Target, and the mall, and despite the parking lot which looked quite intimidating, the crowds wer...
