Happy thanksgiving!
Today Cayleigh and I started the preparation for Thanksgiving. We ran to the store, where I bribed my child to sit in the grocery cart, a donut if she would sit still and be quiet( I DID promise to be honest in this blog!) and she met the MINIMUM requirement to get one. Sigh. We came back and cleaned together while listening to Christmas music. Yup, the time has come to pull it out, and I LOVE it!!! We baked cookies and had a grand time making a mess! I let her do 95% of the measuring with my help and when she turned on the mixer, her hand slipped and she turned it on high with flour going EVERYWHERE! We giggled for a long time on that one. Cooking with Cayleigh can be such a mess, and take SO much longer thank doing it myself, but at the end, we are creating a memory and she feels such a sense of accomplishment, you can see her glowing from a mile away.
