My family of three

Backstory: Matt was cleaning out our fish tank and noticed there was a new batch of fish. We should really only have about 10, yet I think we have more like 15. When we came home from our stay at my mom's, a new batch had hatched. Unfortunately, they have to take a ride down the potty express. There was a bucket that was filled with the water from the tank and about 7 tadpoles. Cayleigh: Daddy, I think you have fishies in your bucket. Matt: Nah, it's just dirt. Cayleigh: But daddy, I reallllly think those are fishies. Matt: No sweetie, it is just dirt, see? Cayleigh: .......Why does the dirt have tails???

The past few days Cayleigh has insisted she pick her outfit out. I knew this day would come, and I know it could have come alot earlier in life! I love her independence, and actually she does attempt to match(not that it always works out!). I just cringe because the OCD in me knows her drawers will never be the same. Her new fishing hat and sandals Pants and sweatshirt from her 'too small' pile

I have none. Just as Cayleigh seems to be getting better, I fear I have the plague. Or dysentery. Or what the was the buzz flu a year ago?? Oh yeah, maybe the swine flu. I guess I said I wished I could take her sickness one too many times when what I really meant was I want a healthy house. Of course, this simply couldn't happen when the government shuts down and I am home any way. Nope, this would hit after I was off an entire week with my sick kid. Sigh. Lookout Gaithersburg, here I come!! PS- I promise not every post in 2011 will be whiny, it's just been a bad run.
