My family of three

So lately I've been having battles with Cayleigh's hair. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE her hair, just thinking about that messy head can make me smile, but lately brushing through it can put us both in a bad mood. The ends were dry and a little thin so Matt and I talked and decided a little trim wouldn't hurt. I originally said I was going to wait until she was at least 4, but I figure a trim would only help her hair grow. We ended up taking her to lady who cuts Matt's hair, Becky, who has been cutting his hair for 24 years! We thought it was special that she be the one to cut Cayleigh's hair too. And, yes, of course I put it in all in a bag. :) Pre hair cut... On her way in the shop.. She was really nervous when we first got there, so Becky actually cut her hair while I held her. She did eventually let me put her on the chair, with the aid of M&M's of course! At the end, Miss Becky gave her a lollipop and sent her on her way. All in all, she got about a...

We had such a fun time with Kristin and Alycia. Cayleigh is already missing them!! We didn't go out of the house much, but some of the best times can be had right at home. We did venture out for the girls to get their hair cut at the mall. Getting ready to go-she had to hold Alycia's purse for the picture. She has become quite the decision maker lately. I pick my battles. Cayleigh is really learning to use her voice, mainly the volume of it. She always talked quiet and NEVER screamed, but lately that is quite the opposite. She is LOUD! She is mimicking animal sounds, monster sounds, singing, and pretty much anything that is loud! She hasn't learned where to use inside and outside voices, I suppose that is next on the list to teach. sigh . Singing at the mall..

Cayleigh has been really loving with everyone lately..She is an extremist, when it's good, it's REALLY good, but when it's bad, WATCH OUT! Playing Wii with daddy... Reading with her Lysh...

We've been graced by the company of Kristin and Alycia(my sisters). Everyone else is in Florida for soccer(again!) and so we have just been busy with them. Saturday we went to Baltimore to take Kristin's stuff back to school, since that starts back up Tuesday. We also made it to Ikea, which I had never been to. What a crazy place that is! You would have thought it was the day before Christmas with how crowded it was! We also made it to my very favorite pizza place, Squire's and enjoyed EVERY bite!!!!!
