My family of three

I let Cayleigh paint my nails the other day. She is always asking me and I finally figured, why not? She was so proud of herself and felt so accomplished. We had to clean them edge up a bit, but she told anyone who would listen that she painted them, including the checker at kohls. :) Just my cell phone pics, sorry if they are grainy. This past weekend we also did makeup. She is a great mix of tom-boy/girly girl, which I love. I always try to encourage her to like what she likes, not just what Matt or I like. And to show I am 100% open on this blog I offer you this. I can hear you laughing from Hagerstown. I did her makeup, but she made me put black on her, and then she did mine.

We've been trying to soak up all of these mild winter days and get outside. A snowy winter has it's perks, but this mild of a winter keeps you from going stir crazy which is nice too! At the park.... and hiking on the Appalachian trail. And yes, she insists on picking out her outfit most days and it almost always involves this jean skirt. Love. <3
