My family of three

Today was my day off and I just spent the day with Cayleigh, playing "bocks", where we stack them all up and instead of knocking them over like we used to, we take them down, piece by piece. I also got alot of long overdue cleaning done, and felt pretty good about it. You know the places nobody can appreciate but you. So here's an open invitation to look in my kitchen cabinets, they are now organized, or my laundry room, it's organized too :) Went to Walmart and explored with Cayleigh while we grocery shopped. I try to make everything we do a learning experience. We counted lemons and noted they were yellow. I let her choose which celery to get, because I just couldn't pick. We stopped to look at "cabs"(lobster). It helps keep her from getting bored. The only hiccup we ran into was when she wanted to count the eggs, so she grabbed them out of the cart and opened it up and said "one, two....OH NO!" We headed to Virginia beach for the 4th and had a really nice time. We went to my Uncle and Aunt's house, who live just a couple blocks from the beach. Cayleigh absolutely adores the beach and you can just see how much she loves the outdoors. She wanted to be with daddy in the ocean the entire time, only coming in occasionally to reapply the sunscreen and sit with her grammy to warm up. Everyone was shocked at just how happy she was there. We didn't really do anything other than the beach, so not much to report. Cayleigh did have a bit of a run in with one of their dogs, which left her frightened for the night, but luckily the next morning she was very happy to see them.
