Twinners...

Image
Marissa came to our house last night for a sleepover...Cayleigh was very happy to have her at our house to "paaayyy"(play). They rearranged her room, played dollhouse, did playdoh, ring around the rosie, watched little bear, and Marissa even slept right next to her bed! They dressed up in their pajamas and and slippers together and Cayleigh thought it was pretty cool for someone to look like her!! We call that "twinners" in our family. One of the girls started it and it's become a word for us, I sometimes forget it isn't one! It's so funny how much she feels like one of the girls and really doesn't seem to even realize the age gap, she feels like a big girl around them! She loves her dit-da! Oh and she also helped me set up my webcam, so when Kristin goes to college in, *GASP*, 10 DAYS, we will be able to chat with her! I'll save that rant for another post though.

Our first movie experience...

Today I took Cayleigh to see the movie, Barnyard at the movie theatre. Our local mall had a free showing, so I thought that would be a great opportunity to see how she would do. To my surprise, we stayed for the whole movie and I actually was able to watch it! She wanted more snacks than the little I brought, but I think it was because she smelled the "pop-coooon". Next time I will pop some at home first like some others around me did! She did such a good job, I bought her a kids meal and apparently it knocked her out! There is one more free showing next week and I think I may go. All ready to go, keys in hand!! Toes! she now asks daily to paint them, even though they still have polish on them :) Out like a light!

Dollhouse and daddy time...

Today we brought home one of Marissa's old dollhouses. My mom had 2 dollhouses, so we brought one home. We spent the evening setting it up and Cayleigh and I played with it for some time. Afterward, she helped daddy put together her new gift from her grandma(matt's mom), she thought she was big stuff helping!
