My family of three

We went camping this past weekend at Rocky Gap State Park and had a really nice time. It was definitely the best experience we had as far as location-as far as weather, not so much. We got there Friday morning and the weather was awesome Friday and Saturday, but from Saturday night through Sunday morning the gates opened and it poured. The good news is we know our new tent doesn't leak. you can imagine the fun, however, trying to clean everything up that was super soggy! Friday we set up the campsite and hung out around the site, making hamburgers and roasted veggies for dinner. Pretending she got a big "bite"... Daddy and "Caders" Marshmallow! A new favorite picture of mine... Picking a flower for her momma, such a sweetie! Saturday Melissa and Summer drove up and spent the day with us, we rented boats, went fishing and briefly went in the water....Dinner was hot dogs, green beans, baked beans and corn on the cob.

A few weekends ago we went to Hershey and had such a great time! It was really special because it marked one of the very few times the 9 of us(plus Alycia's boyfriend!) went somewhere like that together! You can imagine how much a group of our size costs to go to an amusement park, but my work was offering discounted tickets so we jumped on them! At first glance the weather looked crummy-overcast and an occasional shower, but the silver lining was the fact there was no sun and it was maybe 80! For a mid July day in PA that's awesome!
