My sick ladybug....

Yesterday began as just an ordinary day. We got up, got ready for work, Cayleigh woke up smiling, happy and even dancing at 6am. Matt took her to my mom's while I took 90 minutes to travel down that hell they like to call 270. Pretty busy at work, but got a call from my mom saying Cayleigh had "sick breath". I really didn't know what she meant, but she called back as I was on my way to her house(I only work half days Thursday) to say she had a fever too and she gave her motrin. I picked her up and she had these pitiful sick and eyes and as my mom described, stinky breath! I took her home and my dad was at our house for our visit. She really perked up and ate a decent lunch and danced and played like she was fine. My dad leaves and we both took a nap. Matt came home at 4:30 and we woke up, and she feels like fire...I take her temp, 103.1. Called the doc and they said there was a high temp flu goign around and she REALLY should be seen. On Monday, Kristin, Amanda, and Marissa came over since we all had off for Presidents' day(we missed you Lysh!) Alycia went to States for Track and Middletown won! The girls and I went to the park and had a really fun time playing, sliding, swinging, blowing bubbles, you get the idea...Tuesday was Kathi's actual birthday so Rick and her came over and tested out the wii(sorry Kathi, I HAVE to do it!). Today was a really crappy day out so I spent the day cleaning and hanging out with my favorite girl! Sliding with Aunt Mandy and Marissa and crawling through the tunnel... Going on the merry go round thingy! Playing with her ball and swinging with Aunt Kristy! Kathi and Rick playing wii! Enjoying our day today...She kept putting on that hat, I love her face, even messy! She loves stacking the cans, who needs toys?

Fun day with Grandma....

We had such a good time at the zoo yesterday! It was pretty cool in the morning, but warmed up a little as the day progressed. We walked the entire place, and Cayleigh's favorite was the bear and the lion...We saw elephants doing tricks, and also weighing themselves! My favorite are always the gorillas, I feel this connection with them, as though they are analyzing me when I look at them, lol. They had a momma gorilla with a newborn gorilla in her pouch that was too cute. We did wonder what happened to the giraffes, they had a few 3 years ago the last time we went....? After the zoo, we went to Carrabba's and had a great lunch/dinner. We were all pooped when we got home. Hope you had a great birthday Kathi/mom/Grandma! Cayleigh's favorite part of the zoo... He heard the food tray coming! So beautiful..... My grandma....
