My family of three

Cayleigh had a halloween party at class and I was able to go. I love going in the room and hearing  "are you Cayleigh's mom" and "Cayleigh is so crazy" and other funny things about my girl.  It's Merida :) Cayleigh and Stephen Ava, C and Riley We also did a trunk or treat the weekend before Halloween and then went out on Halloween night. Hey, you can never get these kid years back-better to make the most of it! Trunk or treat: Tara, C, Jenna and little sister Megan Halloween night!

So as I said on my last post I had no intention on getting the kitchen floors done. Oh, don't get me wrong- I wanted to get the floors done- desperately , but it wasn't planned at all. I was at home depot for more paint and I walked past the flooring and looked at Matt and said "wonder how much...?" To my surprise Matt said-if you can pick it out, I'll do it this weekend. Friends-when a husband answers that way, you pick out any color(other than yellow) and roll with it!!

You know how starting one little project to a house can sometimes turn into a bigger one? Matt's aunt offered to paint a wall for me for my birthday and since I've been painting trim and my living room, I was all painted out and excited for the help! We were just going to do one wall I said....Well one wall turned into two and then I got new a kitchen floor....Doesn't that make perfect sense? Only in my head my friends...It's a very scary place up there! :) We will do a little at a time, as that is all my life and budget allow, but I'm amazed at what a difference even little things can do. My inspiration picture and color choices.... My walls!! PS-there is your sneak peek at the floors in the kitchen! Very very happy with how the color turned out! No finished picture of this wall, but you get the idea! I will have the floor post up tomorrow hopefully!
