Playing and a potty update..

Image
Guess what we did today?? Yup. You've got it. We played in the snow! Shocking right? I mean we also put together her nemo puzzle 80 times, danced, watched the little mermaid, dora, little bear, diego...ahem. We've also been doing really good with potty training. We've been pretty relaxed about the whole thing, but Cayleigh has been perfect while home! The only time she has accidents are while we are out, and I have a pull up on then. Perhaps not a perfect scenario, but it works for us, for now. Also she has been doing #2 on the potty with no accidents for longer than I remember(a month?). We are SO proud of her. She is still needing reminding-she only tells us 50% of the time when she needs to go, which is why it is so hard to not have accidents while we are out. Anyway, I'm thrilled because it has been almost painless, and I had SO psyched myself out of doing it for months. Didn't we just play the game "Where is my car?" Love these pictures...makes me ...

A quick trip...

Image
Yesterday we made a quick trip to the mall to meet Melissa and Summer and let them burn off a little energy before the storm came. We met at the book store and let them play and then took them to the pet store to ooh and ahh over the animals-the highlight being Summer yelling at a boy who pushed Cayleigh to "be nice to Cayleigh" and when he didn't listen(she warned him twice!) and started pushing her-she took care of him, LOL!! Love that kid-thanks for looking out for Cayleigh Summer! :) They rode a couple rides and had lunch together and before you knew it the weather was crappy again. We had plans to go to the furniture store, but downtown Frederick was a mess! Decided to head home and was SO glad we did, it was worse where we live. Matt and Cayleigh made a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls, and we had them this morning-SUPER yummy!!! Of course, I'll be posting the recipe soon. :)

Playing in the snow...again.

This will not be the last playing the snow post I'm sure, because let's face it, what ELSE is there to do? Currently we have at least another 14 inches and it's still snowing. :( Enough whining..here are a few pics of the one day it didn't snow this week. :) Eating snow.. Watching daddy shovel.. Making a snow angel.. We also made another Roast Chicken and if possible, this was even better than the last. Veggies... Before.... After....
