Nothing big planned today aside from grocery shopping(I feel old when I think of grocery shopping as a big part of my day, sigh.) We decided to go to the mall to get out of the house and let Cayleigh was around. She was pretty good, aside from trying to join groups of strangers and ditch the dorks(aka her mom) with the camera. My latest "masterpiece"

Surprise, another day at the park!!

So no big shocker here, we went to city park today!! Today we had Mandy and Sadie meet us and hang out. Sadie was a little under the weather today but the swings seemed to cheer her up and Cayleigh enjoyed running around and getting a muddy mess! Took a walk and looked at duckies and decided to go to Moe's for lunch...It's always so nice getting together with Mandy and Sadie, Mandy and I have so much in common and it is nice to be able to relax and be able to be yourself around someone you don't get to see all the time. Mandy is such a genuine person and it's so fun to be around someone who loves their child as much as you love yours and understands that kind of love! Before we left.... Looking at the duckies.... Holding hands.... Sadie enjoying her cookie at Moe's... Also, I found a cool place that let's you edit your pics and while I am certainly no pro, I thought I'd share what I spent 2 hours doing last night, lol! My favorite!!

Cayleigh's new friend and mine too!

It has become apparant recently that I need to get Cayleigh out to socialize with other kids. Otherwise she wouldn't befriend a vacuum cleaner and call her good girl!! So the story goes that we got a new dyson for xmas(THANK YOU so much!) and it really creeped Cayleigh out. My sister Amanda deemed the vacuum a "good girl" and for some reason it really stuck with Cayleigh. She hugs and kisses it and gets so excited to see "good girl" My new friend is my new hair straightener(thank you to everyone who gave me xmas money!). I would NEVER spend this much money on myself, but Alycia has one and it is really nice and I HAD to buy something! :o) My hair is so wavy, but a messy wave usually and it is nice to have straight hair once in a while! http://infiniti.conair.com/ Here is my hair half done, see the difference?! PS-Who can resist a daddy dancing with his little girl? Not me!

SNOW!

Boy, what an interesting day we had yesterday! It was "gandad"'s birthday and since Matt had to work, we decided to hang out in Middletown with the fam. It was snowing when we left, but since it was just supposed to be a snow shower, no big deal. I put her in her snow boots just to be funny because she has never been able to wear them, and even brought her snow suit for good measure! We got down there and ate breakfast and chatted and when we looked outside the ground was covered! We put her stuff on and got her ready only to realize I had no gloves for her. Shoot, I am always almost prepared, but always missing something! We put on a pair of Marissa's and they worked ok, just looked like she had huge hands! All the girls went out with us and we had a blast, they even took Cayleigh sledding on the small hill in the backyard, which was perfect! Cayleigh just loves it outside, she is such her daddy's daughter, it was freezing, but she barely seemed to notice! When w...

A new decision....

Today was a fun day, we had Rick and Kathi over(grandpa and grandma) over and Cayleigh had a really nice time. Went over to my mom's later in the day because the man of the house is turning 52 tomorrow! Marissa's BFF came over nad showed us her new puppy, Choppers, and our daughter fell in love. She was honestly the best kid I have ever seen with a puppy, especially considering she is never around animals. She kept hugging and kissing and petting him and wanting to walk him on his leash. Now the big question, puppy or not...? "walking" the puppy... LOVES that pup! More hugs! Momma and me! Cayleigh playing with Marissa's mini laptop!
