My family of three

We visited Harper's Ferry, WV last weekend. It was a gorgeous day and it had been quite a few years since we last visited the spot where our engagement took place. Amanda and her boyfriend, and Alycia joined as well and we took a long walk along the trail and ended with ice cream.

We babysat for a friend of mine and had a great time! I will say that I am pretty spoiled with the ease of one child and that I almost felt like a new mom again trying to make a baby happy! Cayleigh was in love with having a baby in the house-such a big helper and it was surprising given she isn't interested in baby dolls at all..

We went to Matt's annual family reunion recently and had a nice time. His family sure knows how to cook! Matt, his momma and our kiwi! and to compare-this was 2 years ago-wahhhh!

Aside from the fact that it was humid and my hair does not do humid, it was a beautiful day. Sam and Linda were kind enough to keep Cayleigh so we could enjoy, take pictures, and not worry that our three year old would nose dive down the bleachers. Getting ready! In the stands waiting! Wow. 3 weeks?? Back to back after an "I feel guilty for neglecting my blog" post?? Oops! Truth is, I feel like I haven't been home long enough to sit and write a post. As if my life is that exciting-what an embellishment. They always said I was the dramatic one. :) We have been busy though-graduation, local town celebrations, Harper's Ferry, swimming at mom's, picking strawberries, grandma visiting from FL, you get the drift! It's too much to post in a big recap so the next few days will be highlights from the past month! Just because it's been so long....Rockin' the aviator's.
