My family of three

Matt and I took Cayleigh to get her pictures done at the picture people Wednesday. She hasn't had her pictures done since x-mas( my first blog was about it)....and that was NOT fun. I was pleasantly surprised. She actually listened to us and followed directions from the photographer. Please note that the picture of her hand on her cheek was done completely on her own. She was bribed with an M&M(one, lol) if she listened.....*insert ashamed face* My favorite.... A comparison to last year, what a difference a year makes... It makes me sad!! Her baby face is gone and her hair has grown SO much!

I don't think I've mentioned it, but Cayleigh has chipped teeth....We are up to 3 now. I noticed 2 while we were in Florida and while it broke my heart, I chalked it up to being a fast paced kid. Wednesday morning I was brushing her teeth and noticed another. It freaked me out. I called my doctor, who referred me to my dentist(normally the age to begin going is 3), who referred me to a pediatric dentist. So we had a 10am appt this morning and Cayleigh decided to rise at 5:30am. Great, I figured I was in for it. She actually completely surprised me! They had a kids area in the waiting room, and she got to play for about 15 minutes, which I think made her more comfortable. We went back and the hygentist had a good technique where I hugged her and then laid her back onto a pillow, where the hygentist held her head. She seemed super nervous, but I started saying "A, B, C..." and she said it with me. The dentist came in and Cayleigh was more nervous with her and had a terr...

When did my baby get so big for her high chair??

I always say I want to blog every day so I don't forget anything, but never do it. Seems silly to blog on vacation, but if you had my memory, you definitely would, just ask Pam or Matt. I forget everything! So, here goes... Friday afternoon we met at my mom's and left from there, as Pam and Matt had to work half a day. We stopped for lunch and again at sonic, because if you know me, you know I LOVE Sonic Drive ins. We were especially thrilled when Matt pulled in 3 minutes before the 1/2 drink specials end! We all got drinks and were on our merry way watching the Lion King until Pam handed me Cayleigh's "cuppa cuppeeeee", which Cayleigh had somehow managed to poke her straw through the styrafoam cup, with apple juice slush pouring out.....What do I do? Hold the cup and put my hand out to "catch" all of the juice! Eventually everyone yelled enough that I got it out the window. I mean, I didn't have a spare hand, I was busy "holding" the slush...
