Work with mommy!

Image
Cayleigh came to my work today. She rode down with Grandad(we work for the place), explored where he worked, and then came with me. I told my boss before she came that I would work as long as I could, but that I had very low expectations....I was pleasantly surprised! She was extremely well behaved, didn't have any temper tantrums, was friendly, and listened to me . I'm not sure what grandad gave her for breakfast, but I think I should find out! I froze the computer and let her type away on my keyboard... This was by far her favorite thing to do...She went through an entire pack of 'sign here' stickers and then put them all over herself...

Party time!!!

Sunday was Cayleigh's birthday party! We had a really nice time with everyone. It was scaled way back from her first birthday, and really, it made it so much nicer. We were only missing Ma-maw, who is in FL taking care of Cayleigh's great-grandma. We missed you! Party day started with nap time, a non negotiable thing in this house. Some people take nap time literally....*cough, cough, Matt, cough* Perhaps the ONLY picture you will see of Cayleigh, with her hair fixed and her dress on. :) Pre party pic! We had Pork BBQ for dinner that turned out really great! Of course, Cayleigh is not a BBQ fan, so she made english muffin pizzas and thought she was such big stuff with the sauce and spilling, erh, spreading the cheese. Her new bike from Grammy, Grandad and all the girls! Her cake! Some of the special people who came! Sorry if I didn't get a picture of you! Alycia and my dad(top), Krystal and Matt(bottom) The clan minus mom :( , and Aunt Pammy!! SO glad Kristy could make a su...

Cayleigh's 2nd birthday!

**Warning*** Lots of pics for the next 2 days, hope you don't have dial up!! Saturday we decided to go to Port Discovery in Baltimore. We originally were going to go to the Baltimore Zoo, but with the forecast threatening rain and thunderstorms, we didn't want to chance it. We stopped by Dinkin donuts for breakfast and got Cayleigh a cup of donut holes, which she gobbled up, (I think she had 5!) and headed down the road. We got there around 10:30 and stayed for about 2.5 hours. What a neat place that is! It was very age appropriate and it was a really neat place for her. It was really important for us to let her birthday be a day full of "yes", as opposed to the every day "no" I feel like she hears. She could run, paint, bang, jump, etc all she wanted! They were a bit crowded, and we saw this little girl get into a fight with another little boy(punching and knocking on the ground), but other than that we had such a great time! Her favorite part was jumping i...
