My family of three

We've been trying to make more of an effort to keep the tv off. We have started more of a routine on the weeknights, dinner, bath and then a game, playdoh, coloring, or some activity as a family. Tonight we played Yahtzee after bath time! My only oversight was when I took her picture I forgot she wasn't dressed....No nudie pics here!

So here is the taco pie I mentioned in my previous post....It's really good! Here's the recipe, however, I made a few changes. I omitted the black olives, added rotel(during the timeyou add the seasoning) added the juice of the rotel in place of the water, did half the sour cream, and added refried beans as a layer of the pie after the ground beef mixture. Oh and added lettuce and more sour cream as a topping! Quick Crescent Taco Pie 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix 1 pound lean ground beef 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup black olives, pitted and sliced 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls 2 cups crushed tortilla chips 1 cup sour cream 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese In a large fry pan, brown the ground chuck. Drain off the oil. Stir in seasoning mix, water, and olives. Simmer for 5 minutes. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place triangles in an ungreased 10-inch pie pan, pressing to form a crust. It's been a week since I posted! As I always promise, I am going to get back to doing it more frequently. To my credit though, it's been a bit of a "bumpy" ride this week. *TMI PICTURE ALERT*-on second thought, I'll spare us all and not put it up, LOL! When I say bumpy, I had hives this week. They are about 90% gone now, but they reared their ugly head all over my body Wednesday morning and benedryl did nothing but mock me. It was not a fun week at my house. Ok, ok, enough about me....Someone had a birthday :) She even had catwoman show up for her special day!;) We also made it to one of Alycia's playoff soccer games. unfortunately, I forgot the bigger lens, so I only got pictures of the fans.
