After 3 days of crappy weather, we decided to go to the park, even if it was soggy. We put her in some old clothes and rain boots and jacket and let her explore. She absolutely loved going on the slide, I stopped counting after the 20th slide down. We stayed until her butt was soaking from the wet slide and headed home. She is so tired after 2 pieces of french toast, a bath, and 40 minutes at the park, now it is New moon time for me!



We came home and Pam came over for a sushi sampling lunch, which was interesting....We had cucumber rolls, california rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and futi maki rolls. We like everything except the spicy tuna, it was slimy and pasty, and Pam and I choked it down. Kristin and Amanda came over and we all just hung with Cayleigh, and played the Wii...What a nice time we had, but ugh to Monday morning.

Don't you just love rain boots?! One of those things I didn't think she needed, but now that she has them, she wears them ALL the time. We have to get together soon. I still have your Elmo computer!

Thanks! Blogger is really annoying me, and the pics are cut off now like you said they always were for you, ugh. I LOVE her rain boots and thought Sadie's were adorable! I had completely forgot about the computer! I figured your mom was still there so I didn't wanna bother you when you had such little time!

Day 2 of the snow....

Today we got a batch of ice which so nicely laid over our 2-3 inches of snow. Luckily, I was off and didn't have to call in! Matt went to work a couple hours late so I made a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, homefries, toast, and orange slices! We played and watched a good bit of TV, I'm not proud to say, but with Matt fighting a cold, and me with a headache again, I decided to make it a low key day and she was thrilled! 10 is...

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. At least I have my words...On that note, I thought I'd write a bit of what 10 looks like: -Eating a bowl of cereal and a pop tart EVERY morning -Really starting to cooking unassisted. She made a 2 layer cake this week and thanks to a 2 hour delay I got pancakes. Teaching her to cook has been pretty cool.  -Begging me for a cup of coffee because she wants to be grown up. I let her have 1/2 a cup here and there-they say it stunts your growth. I say she is 5 foot 2 inches now so that's a lie. -Texting her friends and playing computer games with them as much as she is allowed. -Watching Hallmark movies day and night with me and Marvel movies with her dad. 8/21 and 8/22...

Two years ago today I was headed to the hospital ready to have my baby... At 1:02pm on August 22nd, we had our beautiful baby girl... It changed our lives forever. Cayleigh(aka-Kiwi, pee-wee, lovebug, etc) we love you so much and feel so blessed to have you as our little girl. Your sweetness and kindness is so beautiful, and your hugs and kisses mean more than you will ever know. Watching you grow and learn new things every day makes us so proud, and it remind us to slow down and look at life the way you see it.
