An evening stroll at the park...

So I've mentioned before how I don't like this town. I'm glad we are renting because I am honestly not sure I could live here and raise a family here. Don't get me wrong parts of it are beautiful, like the park. We went there yesterday and took a really nice walk around the pond and went to the kids section and let Cayleigh play. There are cherry trees blooming, ducks quacking, the sun shining off the water. Sounds serene almost right? HA! If you can get by the people smoking everywhere, letting their kids run like crazy and the parents too busy on their cell phone. Then there was the lady who was screaming, not yelling, but screaming at her kid, and when we merely glanced over to make sure everything was ok, she screamed at us to stop staring! Sigh. We did manage to have a nice time, but people just never cease to amaze me.

Sorry if this post sounds whiny, but if you live here, you get it.

HA HA! You should just start wearing ear plugs to the park. Maybe try a park over on the north side of town.<---that sounds terrible. You crack me up!

Cayleigh looks adorable in her hat!!

Honestly, I really should! Like you said, Cayleigh wants those darn ducks, and it's the ONLY reason I go there!

LOL - That really does sounds like a perfect example of Hagerstown - especially the South end of Hagerstown.

I wish I could think of another place in Htown that has ducks =(

I know I'm commenting twice on the same post, BUT I have to point out that I don't notice the...ummm...interesting...people many places other than that specific park. Sure, I run into idiots, but not more than in any other town I've lived in. But that park is the exception. They seem to gravitate there, LOL! Ok, I'm done.
