I want to write a little about why I decided to start a blog. I think it's important to let people know that I am not in any way trying to show off my kid or try to show off my life. The biggest reason I started my blog was so that my grandparents and any one who didn't live close to me could still be a part of our lives. Also, since I don't have a baby book, I wanted to document the best time in my life. I have a terrible memory and one of my biggest fears is that I will one day forget my happy days. I take alot of pictures and while some people may think it is over the top, please don't come to this blog. The quality of my pictures aren't top notch, but that isn't overly important to me. It is the people in the picture that make it amazing anyway.

That's the same reason I started my blog. So that family can get to see Asher growing up. And all the pictures is so that I always remember. I think it's a mommy thing.

I started my blog for the same reason and if someone feels that you are showing Cayleigh off then they do not need to come to your blog. I had someone comment on my blog about a year or so ago that I do not know about it being a boring blog or something. I did not take it personally. Your family and friends appreciate it! I think you do a great job and Cayleigh is beautiful!!!

that's the same reason I started my blog too. DH's family lives STATES away...and my Mom can't get enough of Evan. Plus, it helps me to write it all down for future reference. if other people happen to enjoy it, that's a bonus. :)

Day 2 of the snow....

Today we got a batch of ice which so nicely laid over our 2-3 inches of snow. Luckily, I was off and didn't have to call in! Matt went to work a couple hours late so I made a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, homefries, toast, and orange slices! 10 is...

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. At least I have my words...On that note, I thought I'd write a bit of what 10 looks like: -Eating a bowl of cereal and a pop tart EVERY morning -Really starting to cooking unassisted. She made a 2 layer cake this week and thanks to a 2 hour delay I got pancakes. Teaching her to cook has been pretty cool.  -Begging me for a cup of coffee because she wants to be grown up. I let her have 1/2 a cup here and there-they say it stunts your growth. I say she is 5 foot 2 inches now so that's a lie. -Texting her friends and playing computer games with them as much as she is allowed. -Watching Hallmark movies day and night with me and Marvel movies with her dad. 8/21 and 8/22...

Two years ago today I was headed to the hospital ready to have my baby... At 1:02pm on August 22nd, we had our beautiful baby girl... It changed our lives forever. Cayleigh(aka-Kiwi, pee-wee, lovebug, etc) we love you so much and feel so blessed to have you as our little girl. Your sweetness and kindness is so beautiful, and your hugs and kisses mean more than you will ever know. Watching you grow and learn new things every day makes us so proud, and it remind us to slow down and look at life the way you see it.
