Wednesday....Downtown Disney!

We decided to head to Orlando on Wednesday. We had decided before we came that we wouldn't do Disney this year. Although she adores Mickey Mouse, she really wouldn't have gotten much out of it, and she is not patient. Plus the thought of her not taking a nap makes me shiver! We still wanted to go to Orlando and visit our honeymoon location and decided to visit Downtown Disney to give her a feel of Mickey! When we went on our honeymoon it was mostly nightclubs, but now it is much more family oriented.

We went to the mall first, and stopped at the Bass Pro shops. Sounds like a daddy trip(and it was a bit) but Cayleigh adores their fish tanks!

After we headed over to Disney and Cayleigh napped, which worked perfectly.

Here is where Cayleigh decided to sit for some of the visit. Normally a not good idea, while on a vacation in a crowded place, you will let you kid sit anywhere where they are in your site!

We came home after we endure all the heat we could, and went home to the pool! Cayleigh was getting braver and braver each time she got in...

wow, such great pictures. looks like such a fun time!! I love her mickey shirt. I'm so envious that she likes the sand. our beach trip would have been so different if Evan would have liked the sand.

Wow..great pictures! Looks like you guys had a great time. I love her mickey shirt..where did you get that with her name on it?? Looks like she loves the beach as much as Hailey does. I am glad she warmed up to the water.

Day 2 of the snow....

Today we got a batch of ice which so nicely laid over our 2-3 inches of snow. Luckily, I was off and didn't have to call in! Matt went to work a couple hours late so I made a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, homefries, toast, and orange slices! We played and watched a good bit of TV, I'm not proud to say, but with Matt fighting a cold, and me with a headache again, I decided to make it a low key day and she was thrilled! After her morning nap and lunch, "we" decided to surprise daddy with some cookies. I let her watch me and she helped stir and lick the beater. 10 is...

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. At least I have my words...On that note, I thought I'd write a bit of what 10 looks like: -Eating a bowl of cereal and a pop tart EVERY morning -Really starting to cooking unassisted. She made a 2 layer cake this week and thanks to a 2 hour delay I got pancakes. Teaching her to cook has been pretty cool.  -Begging me for a cup of coffee because she wants to be grown up. I let her have 1/2 a cup here and there-they say it stunts your growth. I say she is 5 foot 2 inches now so that's a lie. -Texting her friends and playing computer games with them as much as she is allowed. -Watching Hallmark movies day and night with me and Marvel movies with her dad. She is well rounded. -Still loving soccer, but recognizing that sometimes coaches can take away the sparkle of it. -Being 5'1" and wearing a bigger s...

8/21 and 8/22...

Two years ago today I was headed to the hospital ready to have my baby... At 1:02pm on August 22nd, we had our beautiful baby girl... It changed our lives forever. Cayleigh(aka-Kiwi, pee-wee, lovebug, etc) we love you so much and feel so blessed to have you as our little girl. Your sweetness and kindness is so beautiful, and your hugs and kisses mean more than you will ever know. Watching you grow and learn new things every day makes us so proud, and it remind us to slow down and look at life the way you see it.
