Whoops!

It's been a week since I posted! As I always promise, I am going to get back to doing it more frequently. To my credit though, it's been a bit of a "bumpy" ride this week. *TMI PICTURE ALERT*-on second thought, I'll spare us all and not put it up, LOL!


When I say bumpy, I had hives this week. They are about 90% gone now, but they reared their ugly head all over my body Wednesday morning and benedryl did nothing but mock me. It was not a fun week at my house.

We also made it to one of Alycia's playoff soccer games. unfortunately, I forgot the bigger lens, so I only got pictures of the fans. After seeing grandad and mommy yell, Cayleigh decided to outdo us!!

We visited with Sam and Linda yesterday and as always, Cayleigh had a blast running after their hibbies, *ahem* cats, playing with the dog and being mesmerized with her Uncle Sam. We had a really nice time, and love being around such awesome people who really love us. ;)

We have done more this past week, but with my memory so crappy, unless I take a picture of it, it's out of my mind in an hour, lol, so sad!

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. Black Bean burritos

We have really been on a mexican food kick lately. We have mexican at least twice a week, and the only downside is that Cayleigh isn't a huge fan, though she will eat quesadillas and now randomly has a new love for salsa. Lord, don't ask her to eat a chicken fajita, the world may end. Tonight's dinner was Black Bean burritos. I used this recipe as a base for my burritos, but did change it up a bit. Here is what I used, I will put in bold the changes I made: 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas (I used 4) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I only used 1/2, and used mostly pam) 1 small onion, chopped (I used a purple onion) 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers (I used fresh) 3 ounces cream cheese (I used half a block) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro I added a half a piece of chicken breast-it goes so much farther with beans Also added a handful of cut up fresh cher...

And the verdict is.....

Sinus Infection. I went to the doctor's today after work and he said I had a pretty bad sinus infection. In my experience, it is definitely my worst one of my life. My head hurts, my eyes are super red and irritated from the sneezing and blowing my nose a thousand times a day. Oh and my throat is scratchy and my ears are aching. I hate being sick. I hate going to the doctor's. I hate taking medicine, particularly medicine with no coating on it that are the size of my pinky finger. It is still raining, with no real end in sight. Hmm...anything else I can complain about? I want to keep it all in this post and just get it all out now so I can get over it! Well there was the fact that my doctor prescribed me eye drops and when I went to pick them up, it was $50!!! Forget it, I will suffer. I will take my $7 generic antibiotic and suffer with red, sore eyes. Ok, enough for today. I promise to be brighter when I am feeling better.
