Cayleigh's 18 month appointment....
The appointment went pretty good! Aside from her terrible fit during the shots and any time the doctor or nurse touched her. She did a little better because I brought her a juice box and her favorite toy(hey), so she cried alot but only screamed during shot time. She is 23lbs, 32.5 inches tall and they didn't give me a number, but said she has "lots of room for brains"!
Told him about the sleeping issues. Basically they aren't "issues", we get her to sleep, put her in her crib, and anywhere from 1-5am she wakes up and sleeps in bed with us. He said it wasn't a big deal as long as we were ok with it and that eventually she will sleep through the night. We love snuggling with her anyway, so we will leave it as is. We think most likely this summer she will start sleeping through the night from being able to be more active outside.
Mentioned the 2 naps a day and he thought it was fine! Said we all wished we could take 2 naps a day, and since she wakes up so early, he thought it was a good idea.
He said although she is slim, she is very healthy, and that she should be able to say 8 words by now. I'd say she is at about 25-35...
No more shots until 2, woohoo!!!
