....

So I've been sick on and off for the past 2 weeks. I did go to the docs, as you may remember, and found out I had a sinus infection. Got meds and now a couple days later caught the sore throat my mom has been complaining about! Better me than Cayleigh, but really, enough is enough! Haven't done much lately, Pam came over and spoiled Cayleigh with some adorable outfits! Cayleigh used the dress to make mickey into a minnie, and carried the other 2 on the hangers all morning! I spent all today cleaning and am about 80% done with my spring cleaning. It sometimes seems as though I spend my whole life cleaning, but I feel proud to have a clean home, and appreciative to only work part time, so the domestic part of me likes to clean so Matt doesn't have to do as much. Plus that way our weekends are free! Cayleigh even helped me and cleaned the windows, tv's and table with me. She kept saying "YAY, good girl!" and clapping her hands!

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. Black Bean burritos

We have really been on a mexican food kick lately. We have mexican at least twice a week, and the only downside is that Cayleigh isn't a huge fan, though she will eat quesadillas and now randomly has a new love for salsa. Lord, don't ask her to eat a chicken fajita, the world may end. Tonight's dinner was Black Bean burritos. I used this recipe as a base for my burritos, but did change it up a bit. Here is what I used, I will put in bold the changes I made: 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas (I used 4) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I only used 1/2, and used mostly pam) 1 small onion, chopped (I used a purple onion) 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers (I used fresh) 3 ounces cream cheese (I used half a block) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro I added a half a piece of chicken breast-it goes so much farther with beans Also added a handful of cut up fresh cher...

And the verdict is.....

Sinus Infection. I went to the doctor's today after work and he said I had a pretty bad sinus infection. In my experience, it is definitely my worst one of my life. My head hurts, my eyes are super red and irritated from the sneezing and blowing my nose a thousand times a day. Oh and my throat is scratchy and my ears are aching. I hate being sick. I hate going to the doctor's. I hate taking medicine, particularly medicine with no coating on it that are the size of my pinky finger. It is still raining, with no real end in sight. Hmm...anything else I can complain about? I want to keep it all in this post and just get it all out now so I can get over it! Well there was the fact that my doctor prescribed me eye drops and when I went to pick them up, it was $50!!! Forget it, I will suffer. I will take my $7 generic antibiotic and suffer with red, sore eyes. Ok, enough for today. I promise to be brighter when I am feeling better.
