Ocean City!
I always say I want to blog every day so I don't forget anything, but never do it. Seems silly to blog on vacation, but if you had my memory, you definitely would, just ask Pam or Matt. I forget everything! So, here goes...

Friday afternoon we met at my mom's and left from there, as Pam and Matt had to work half a day. We stopped for lunch and again at sonic, because if you know me, you know I LOVE Sonic Drive ins. We were especially thrilled when Matt pulled in 3 minutes before the 1/2 drink specials end! We all got drinks and were on our merry way watching the Lion King until Pam handed me Cayleigh's "cuppa cuppeeeee", which Cayleigh had somehow managed to poke her straw through the styrafoam cup, with apple juice slush pouring out.....What do I do? Hold the cup and put my hand out to "catch" all of the juice! Eventually everyone yelled enough that I got it out the window. I mean, I didn't have a spare hand, I was busy
"holding" the slush!
The famous cup and the guilty look!

The rest of our drive was good, and we got to the hotel and much to our surprise was pretty nice given that it wasn't where we were supposed to stay.
Cayleigh seemed pretty excited about the room...

We decided to head out to the boardwalk for a nice walk, as the weather had started to perk up. We were looking for a place called "the wrapper", which was a favorite of Pam's. We walked a good bit before deciding it must have closed down, and as we were turning around to head back to the hotel, Pam looked at me and said "what's on my head?!".....
Yup, you guessed it, pigeon poop.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!! Sorry Pam, I couldn't help it, I have to document everything you know! I did put my boneheaded move in with the juice cup! Mean to put it in here, not so much. I was equipped with a camera and didn't take a pic, now that's a good friend!!! :)
I was supposed to be helping her get it out, but it was all I could do to not pee my pants. A funny note, as we were cleaning it out of her hair, she looked up and found the store we were looking for! We had almost missed it! After she went back and took a shower, we headed to Dumser's for dinner, came back to the hotel and people watched from the balcony.
Saturday was our beach day so after eating at the dough roller, we headed to the beach. The waves were a bit much and the water was pretty cold so Cayleigh and Matt played at the edge and Pam and I tanned....
Cayleigh striking a pose..

She just adores the beach....The waves were strong but she really held her balance!

Aunt Pammy saved her from a big one!

After a few hours, we headed in so Cayleigh could get her nap and lunch. Pam and I laid out while Matt stayed with Cayleigh while she slept. We had lunch at the hotel room(Pizza Mambo's) and then went out to Assateague to take Cayleigh to see the "neigh-neigh's". It was free admission, which was a nice little perk! We saw some horses up close and then stopped to dip our feet at the shore, and it was 20 degrees warmer I swear! We will definitely be back, it was so much less crowded than the beach!

Picking up a clam!

We headed back and ended up at a place I've already forgotten(the boathouse or something like that? See what I mean about my memory?) and it was so nice because it was the only place that wasn't crazy crowded. We sat outside for dinner and watched the quick sunset. I should mention Cayleigh is AWFUL at meal time out. She knows that there is no time out at a restaurant and really tests her limits. It made for very unpleasant meals at times. What can you do, ya know? You just deal I guess :) We came back and walked the boardwalk and had dessert and people watched for a bit.
The OC bunch!

Sunday we headed to the dough roller for breakfast again and took a last stroll and picked up snacks. Stopped at the scopes place and got a cute keychain and got on the road. We did make a pit stop at the outlets for a potty break and Old Navy, but got back on the road. Pam had no sooner said "I hate to jinx us, but doesn't traffic seem really light?", when we stopped dead right before the bridge for 30 minutes or so. We decided to stop at Arrundal Mills Mall since it was right by us, and we ended up staying there until it closed! Got home around 9 and pretty much passed out.

Cayleigh looks like her and Hailey would have a ball together on the beach. I love your reaction to your friends situation with the poop. I would have done the same thing, but would have gotten a pic with it. LOL
Krystal-that is TOO funny! Your poor mom!! Hey you were the bride so the picture was acceptable!
