Hershey Park!!

Saturday we set out to Hershey Park with Melissa and Summer. We decided to stop at Bass Pro shops before and visit Santa since he was giving away free pictures. The lady at the front suggested I take Cayleigh and sit her on Santa before she can decide she doesn't want to. I thought there was absolutely NO WAY this would work, but I did acknowledge that she had seen ALOT of success and failure so I listened and it worked!! Nobody was more shocked than me! Summer, not so excited about Santa so no pic, but the girls still had fun looking at the aquarium and seeing all of the animals. We grabbed lunch and set off for Hershey Park!

Hershey park was really nice. I had not been there for 5 years or so and never went with kids so I wasn't sure what to expect. The girls went on several rides and saw live reindeer, and had hot chocolate. Each of the girls slept for about 30 minutes seperately at the park, which gave us a bit of time to shop. At the end of the day we took a ride in chocolate world, which shows you how chocolate is made and then grabbed some chocolate from the store and headed home. Though the girls were extremely tired, they fought it and managed to stay awake the entire time! All in all, we had a really good time and I think the girls are really beginning to form a little friendship!

10 is...

I decided to pop back into my blog and reminisce, and boy is it sad. All of my pictures are gone, thanks to a company wanting $400 to publish them. Black Bean burritos

We have really been on a mexican food kick lately. We have mexican at least twice a week, and the only downside is that Cayleigh isn't a huge fan, though she will eat quesadillas and now randomly has a new love for salsa. Lord, don't ask her to eat a chicken fajita, the world may end. Tonight's dinner was Black Bean burritos. I used this recipe as a base for my burritos, but did change it up a bit. Here is what I used, I will put in bold the changes I made: 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas (I used 4) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I only used 1/2, and used mostly pam) 1 small onion, chopped (I used a purple onion) 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers (I used fresh) 3 ounces cream cheese (I used half a block) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro I added a half a piece of chicken breast-it goes so much farther with beans Also added a handful of cut up fresh cher...

And the verdict is.....

Sinus Infection. I went to the doctor's today after work and he said I had a pretty bad sinus infection. In my experience, it is definitely my worst one of my life. My head hurts, my eyes are super red and irritated from the sneezing and blowing my nose a thousand times a day. Oh and my throat is scratchy and my ears are aching. I hate being sick. I hate going to the doctor's. I hate taking medicine, particularly medicine with no coating on it that are the size of my pinky finger. It is still raining, with no real end in sight. Hmm...anything else I can complain about? I want to keep it all in this post and just get it all out now so I can get over it! Well there was the fact that my doctor prescribed me eye drops and when I went to pick them up, it was $50!!! Forget it, I will suffer. I will take my $7 generic antibiotic and suffer with red, sore eyes. Ok, enough for today. I promise to be brighter when I am feeling better.
