Sickies
We had a sick-o this weekend. Well that's not entirely true. My mom called me Thursday to tell me that Cayleigh had a low grade fever and was glassy eyed and didn't want to play at the park. A 3 year old who doesn't want to play at the park=something wrong! I left work and brought her home, put her down for a nap and alas, she was back to normal. Or so I thought. When Matt came home, he felt her and said she was warm and sure enough, 100.5. Weird, because she seemed perfectly fine. This is basically what we went through all weekend. You think when your kid is sick and tired that it's a bad thing, but I ask you, how hard do you think it is to make a kid who acts perfectly fine with a 3 year old's energy lay down and relax? I spent the whole weekend telling her to lay down and watch TV, pretty backwards, huh? So far, it was gone today(Monday), but we'll see. She has her 3 year appointment Wednesday, so if it isn't gone by then, she will at least be seen.
