Some days..

Cayleigh seems so grown up. She can dress herself, write her name, get her own snacks, buckle herself in her car seat, help carry groceries in, etc. She makes my sides hurt with laughter from things she says, and how she has gotten to this point from August 22nd, 2007 is beyond me.

I swear all I did was close my eyes one split second.

When I see this:

oh those little chubby cheeks take me back so fast to this:

Sometimes, the time crawls. When you are tired and they are teething and not sleeping, trying to teach them to go on the potty, putting them in time out and wondering if they will ever understand you just want them to listen. It's awesome when they finally reach a milestone. You feel so proud and happy that they are healthy and learning.

But every once in a while it would be nice if you could just hold that baby, even if for just a moment.

And on that sappy note, I'm crying.
