You say it's your...
Birthday!!! :)
Cayleigh's 5th birthday was the gift that just kept on giving. She had a birthday party at her Grammy's house, Matt and I took off for her birthday and then she had a birthday party this past weekend. I'll just break it down by event ;)
Grammy's:
Kristin makes her cake every year now. It's her second year doing it and she gets craftier each year. Cayleigh loved the cake, especially since there was a candy store on the cake! For those that can't tell, it's Cayleigh sitting by the pool :)

She got alot of presents but I think nothing can top these. She slept with them on and thinks they go with everything.

Her actual birthday she decided she wanted to have pancakes with sprinkles, whipped cream and chocolate chips with bacon. She also wanted to go fishing, play at the park, have a picnic lunch with tuna fish and go get her nails done. So we did!
Fishing gear...

This kid is so special...

Her face is just so priceless...

Big foot, little foot...

We took a short walk to the park and had lunch...

and she even got her nails done the next day, it was her first time at the nail salon!

I don't have the birthday party pics uploaded, but will try to do another post tomorrow. Cayleigh starts kindergarten Tuesday so I'm sure I'll be picking back up my blog. I've just really been trying to soak up this last bit of summer before school starts. I am down to crying once a day about it, though thinking about it just sent me over my daily quota. I think having my baby turn 5 and start school in a weeks span has been emotionally draining.
